This magical little island gets its charm due to the unpaved, sandy streets and what seems to be endless pristine beaches. Though it’s a small island, it’s one of Mexico’s top tourist destinations, with countless beach clubs and extraordinary experiences such as snorkeling with whale sharks, kayaking, fishing, and the phenomenon known as bioluminescence.

From the Cancun airport to Chiquila (the town where you grab the ferry) is about a 2-hour drive. Once there, you will see that there are 2 ferries that alternate times, leaving for the island about every 15-30 minutes, and the ride to the island is approximately 30 minutes. Arriving on the island, you’ll see a line of golf cart taxis ready to swift you off to your accommodations. Since the roads aren’t paved, the main mode of transportation for visitors is via golf cart taxi. 

All of our transfers to Holbox include ferry tickets and transfers to your hotel. On arrival a representative will be waiting for you on the dock to drive you to your hotel. For current prices and to arrange your ride, contact us.
